This was nice. A double-HR day at Day 1 of the USA Preps Showcase in Las Vegas today - 210' oppo, 260' dead left.


The first one, no one was sure until it landed. The second one, everyone was sure when it left the bat. She's definitely in a hot groove right now

Holy moly - I've never seen her on a hot streak like this before!! 2 more big bombs today. Totals for the weekend (5 games): 9-for-13, 4 HR, 2 2B, 12 RBI.

Sadly, her team was eliminated in a 13-12 ITB slugfest against a strong opponent. Too many close game losses recently.

After further review, we think her ball might have hit the trees, keeping it from ending up in the street. It was seen landing at the bottom of the second fence, which is under the trees at about 260'.

Can I relax now? I was in fear of over coaching all week Over charging ? maybe I have no credibility as it is because of the people I associate with…. Happy for Maddie, well deserved.

One of the things I like most is that her comfortable "easy" swing that hits BP bombs is starting to really show up in games, with the same kind of result.
