DD plays on a 14u team, moving to 16u this fall, and HC gets all 4 of his pitchers a good amount of circle time.. it helps that they are 4 distinctly different types of pitchers (flame thrower, off speed drop ball specialist, off speed location pitcher, good speed with a lot of movement), so it can really screw the opposing hitteres off to go from flame thrower, little wild, to slow, off speed drop ball pitcher.Finding playing time for 11 in 12u should be easy for the coach. At season end, find another team and broaden your softball skills. Dont rely solely on pitching. Not many scenarios where the #3 pitcher gets a lot of mound time. I think back thru the years 12u, 14u, 16u and now 18u for my DD..#3s dont see a lot of PT..broaden your skill set and keep grinding!!
