I checked out your daughter's video, and as stated above, that drill really is detrimental to anyone's development. It's going to be almost impossible for her to turn with any type of violence or suddenness if her arms are that active in the swing.

Downward path of the swing makes very little sense as Physics has proven all pitches actually go DOWN (other than a riseball) in softball. So a slight upstroke will always be best in any swing, as shown above.

I'm not sure, but by the speed of the clips, whatever her new move is??? its slowing down her bat speed, catching alot more frames in the first one...

Speed is invisible...Rotation is preservable... Lateral is measurable...Paths are traceable...... Heat is IR....

She starts her swing by leveling out the bat behind her - keep the barrel above the hands while behind her is a super start.

Read the forum a lot but have never posted a clip. DD just turned 11, any suggestions?
