That's great! My DD's coach told her, her voice should say "Yes, Yes, Yes,.... " then maybe no depending on the pitch.
Maybe I'll have her having multiple voices in her head. I know how that feels.

My DD's coach told her, her voice should say "Yes, Yes, Yes,.... " During game at bats.
"stretch.......................and fire" During batting practice. This is the time to be doing the thinking.

Personally, I teach my girls to weight shift out onto the big toe as they are identifying the pitch.Once they have committed to the ball, then drop the heel, thus completing the weight transfer onto the front leg. Its this separation that will allow her to still hit for power on off speeds or change ups. The hips do rotate a bit in front of the hands (thats the stretch) but thats for power and not nescicerally a timing issue.
