Science fair project

Thanks for the replies. I think she has decided to go with comparing bats with different weights.

I'm very curious to know what results she gets. Would you please post them for us afterward?

My daughter did this for a science project last year. She compared bats of similar length and composition (alloy) that differed in weight- she and I hit off of a tee and measured the batted ball speed using a radar gun. It was interesting and fun! Also compared an alloy baseball bat to a wood bat of the same weight and length.
