To paraphrase Swingbuilder (for some)the idea of resisting is the process of "fighting like hell not to rotate"..Didn't follow how the hands are loaded. Does that have to do with resisting?
Hips, mainly. Doesn't mean they don't rotate but the idea is that you don't necessarily want to think about actively rotating them. Bregman had a video where he mentioned something similar to this. Not advocating here, just trying to explain my understanding of was meant in Swingbuilder's comment on the video.Rotate what?
They just don't use them enough, that's why he's injured. I heard AJ got hurt during a session of Pilates.Hard to believe. I thought 1-legged hitters didn't even have obliques.
I was explaining what Swingbuilder was referring to when he said resisting...so no, in that context it has nothing to do with "loading the hands". You were inquiring about the clip that Swingbuilder posted that was put on here right???How does not rotating the hips load the hands?
Glad I could help. The instruction to swing while resisting rotation didn't work well. The result was a pure arm push swing. Ugliest swing I've seen in a long time.
Got any video of this attempt? Just curiousThe instruction to swing while resisting rotation didn't work well. The result was a pure arm push swing. Ugliest swing I've seen in a long time.
