YesCreep step, work on it in practice when hitting ground balls. Tell “creep” as you throw the ball up to hit. You want creep step as the ball is approaching home plate. If you creep while the pitcher is winding up then you are flat footed again by the time the ball is put in play. Glove at your waist, not on the ground (especially for 1B and 3B) so they have more range on line drives hit right at them (if glove is on ground, a line drive slightly over their head may not get caught due to having to go from glove on ground).
