DD (2017 grad, 98 birthday) just hit her first over the fence home run in her final at bat of the college showcase tournament near Athens, GA. Wish I could have been there. My wife called me with the news while she was searching for the ball. And what a time to hit it - the homer was witnessed by Patrick Murphy, the two Georgia coaches, the Auburn coach, and the Noth Texas (?) coach!!
As I was writing this my DD just called. It was a bomb to left center off a "floating rise ball." And yes, we have the ball. So cool that her hard work is starting to pay off. Sorry to be obnoxious, but I know you will forgive me.
