We have always pieced together equipment for proper fit. If you want great value for the cost on leg guards, the Champro Optimus Pro is a fantastic choice. About half the price of other leg guards (with padding inside). My 12U DD wears an expensive Easton helmet and a Mizuno chest protector (both for fit), but still wears the Champro legs, and we have bought them twice now as she grew.
