12 straight shutout innings over two games at state tournament

DD little league state tournament is over. First game she pitched a six inning shutout with the team winning 8-0. Second game she started, she shut out the team through the first six innngs. Sadly, the other pitcher did the same to us.

We ended up losing in 8 innings but still very proud of DD post season for pitcing, and batting. With two outs, she drove in our only two runs to stay alive in the 7th inning of the last game. Over all, she gave up only 9 runs in 30+ innings of post season pitching between district, and state tournaments. Not too bad for her first season of fastpitch at nine years old.

State tournament finally finished. The team that beat DD's team in 8 innings ended up winning the state tournament.

That's a landmark game for her..... it took the state championship team 8 innings to best her! Whenever she feeling low on a bad game, you can always say, remember when...........
