Don't be afraid to backfoot bait. If your crowding the plate they will probably pitch inside. As they are getting ready to pitch slide your back foot off the plate 4-6 inches then load and go.
Never heard this but my DD does crowd the plate and I might try it.
My pitcher son loved kids that crowded the plate. Any pitch from middle in is hard to get any wood on.
Most non-MLB pitchers are afraid to throw to hitters crowding since they might hit them. They end up throwing to the outer half, which is their sweet spot.
