Throwing harder and farther

My daughter is 8 years old and it's tough for her to make the throw from 3rd to first. She is a tall strong kid she just lacks the arm strength. What drills do you recommend?

If she's a strong kid, it may very well be a mechanics issue more than just about arm strength.

I <3 the water bottle drill. We saw instant, huge improvement in my 9 year old's throwing with it, and no more elbow pain. We've started doing the long toss to warm up too, anytime we're able to practice outside.
