Could be something, could be nothing. Nothing as in he is trying to clear his head to get ready for at bat and its just routine, but maybe he is trying to feel a certain mechanic

Style looks like Ohtani.
back hip higher than the front.. Creates proper leverage. Otherwise it’s hand driven, rotation driven or front leg driven. Bad lower half engagement.
