and to the OP- definitely sounds whiny....whether it is the suits or not, just shut up and race and accept the results.

Pretty ironic considering they were making such a big deal about their fancy new suits with the bumps designed to make them faster than the competition...

Shani Davis at least wasn't shifting blame.
The engineer in me says you don't train for four years and change equipment a month before the gig, even if it's good equipment.

engineer? sheeeite....you don't even have to be smart to know to do some testing first. Even an attorney or a politician would be able to figure that out....well maybe an attorney could figure it out but it might be a stretch for the politician.

Yeah, the testing baffles me too. 7 people standing around with stopwatches every time you skate, and nobody noticed they were slower?

From what I have read they new suits were testing using the radar guns of fathers who have daughters who pitch in youth softball so the speed test may have been slightly inflated.
