The chances of the rosin bag creating a 'bad hop' are minimal as rosin bags are small and my pitchers
normally leave it a few feet behind the rubber. It is more important that the pitcher feels good and has control.
Regarding unfair advantage. Years ago at a LL regional, we setup a water mist system in our dugout. TD stopped the game
citing unfair advantage (per opposing coach). UIC appealed to regional office. After a 45 min. delay, the misting system was allowed,
as LL rule book needs to specifically cite that example. We pounded that team by a dozen runs....let the girls play, is it my
