I've been checking twitter under #danasmiracle for updates. As of yesterday she was still on life support. This story and her battle for life really hit me hard. I don't know her or her family but I am old enough to have experienced heart wrenching grief. I've never lost a child but when my DD was 7 she was very sick, probably the most scared I've ever been in my life. I pray Dana keeps fighting for life. She has touched so many people in her struggle. It is amazing how the bond of playing softball or being involved in softball can instantly bring individuals together. She has made thousands of teammates across the nation pulling for her.
