Pocket Radar?

I have a pocket radar that I haven’t used in 5 or 6 years. I no longer have a pitcher living at my house but would like to use it with kids I will be coaching. Can anyone tell me how to check this to make sure it works and determine accuracy of the readings?

Ask a dad what speed his daughter throws. Then measure what his DD actually throws with the radar gun. If the radar gun shows 5-10 mph slower than it is probably accurate.

In all seriousness use it next to someone else that has one that works and compare readings.

2. Compare it with a Hitrax.
3. Does your local police department leave a radar trailer out near your street?
