Not at DD's Game Today & Comms Issue :-)

HA, funny stuff here and I can relate! I have never missed one of DD's games but the college that she's going to this fall is in the DII Regionals. The first game last night was streamed on the internet so DW pulled it up on the tablet on the drive home. DW is all into the game and would occasionally guffaw, groan, make a comment but never tell me what was happening. I couldn't wait to get home to watch the game myself!

They won the game and play at 2 today

Oh, those are the women sitting next to me, that either lean over my shoulder and ask what happened, or poke me in the ribs with their elbow.

Her - why didn't she get to take her base? She was hit with the pitch!
Me - She swung at the ball.
Her - It doesn't matter!

Next case, girl stands and looks at 3 strikes.
Her - How can she be out? She didn't even swing!

And just last week, a girl hit a nice single to LF and ran to first, went towards second a couple of steps and came back to first. The mom next to me starts yelling "She can't do that!" Her older DD was with her and said "Mom, it is called rounding the base."
