Yes, this is a shameless parent brag. My 16 year-old daughter hit 64 once last summer in a pitching session, but I never saw it again, personally, until Thursday. She was living at 63-64 all night on the Pocket Radar, and only one pitch went below 61. This is a kid who was a late bloomer, and was late to the National scene, but these consistent speeds on her rise and curve, with her fastball at 62-63. Oh, and she's learning a drop, which I hate catching, BTW.
