5 week break to allow the girls to be kids, start school, plan vacations outside of
softball and to let their bodies rest. From the start of spring ball thru August 1,
they will have played 70-75 games and the batteries need recharging

None right after. It's tryout season. After tryouts most teams play and practice for a while them shut down for a short break.

Remainder of Sept no more tournaments, will likely play 1 or 2 friendlies the last weeks of Sept. One practice a week, optional. Starting first week of Oct back to the regular schedule.

None. During the 12u years our girls miss the first week of school ball tryouts to go to Nationals. As soon as they get back they start in with school ball practices and play out the MS season. Travel ball tryouts for the next summer are in August. MS ball post season ends in late September. We have a couple team practices and maybe a scrimmage game or two shortly after middle school ball is over then take off from the middle/end of Oct - the end of December.

We restart the first week in January. 2 monthish layoff for the holidays for those who want it.
