One of my special memories for this year is when my 6yo GDD, a shock to all of us, wanted to sing the national anthem at a local summer college league game. She auditioned and the team let her sing. We were all amazed that she didn't back out and very proud for the job she did.

And notice her father standing beside her at attention. He is a captain in the Air National Guard. So proud of him also.
Oh, by the way, she is a pretty good t-ball player also. Hope to see her in fast pitch very soon.
