We can have differing political opinions, we can have differing ideas of where the country is headed and what it has been. We can have differing ideas as to what means what and who means who when it comes to America. We have had our share of crimes and bad actions, and our share of celebrations and achievements.
But today, my daughter is guest playing on Championship Sunday at Sparkler for a team that has been kind and generous all week to a stranger. She may not get in -- she's 0-3 with three Ks (riseballs are few and far between in Colorado B ball) -- but I'm going to watch a day's worth of young women playing a game.
Again, everyone's opinions may vary. But to me, America is the greatest dream man has ever dreamed, and I feel lucky to be able to celebrate that today. And hopefully -- hopefully -- NOT watch my daughter pitch
