Started coaching 6U, moved on 8U, now my oldest is heading into 2nd year of 10U and there could be coaching opportunities around the corner.

Didn't grow up playing ball so I'm new to game the last 4-5 years. I'm looking for a good, all in one resource for learning situational positioning after the ball is put in play. 1 out, runner on 2nd, ball hit down right field line, where does the LF go...those kind of questions.

I've absorbed some of the basics but looking for a resource to kind of be able to answer any scenario.

In Motion Playbooks

They offer a paid subscription, or you can review each scenario for a few days before the link expires and moves on to another situation.

You can also customize things like outs, runners, and where it’s hit.

BASIQs is also good for teaching situational awareness, but it’s more quiz-based than graphics / diagrams.

The minute you can throw (play catch) the ball to your DD and with confidence and know she will not palm up try to catch the ball and risk facial damage is the moment of euphoria.
