No idea why…this newest batch of Pro1000’s are Jtan Steerhide instead of Horween which I’m fine with. I’d personally prefer Horween myself, oh well.
Do you have any 12” gloves you’re looking to part with and sell?No idea why…this newest batch of Pro1000’s are Jtan Steerhide instead of Horween which I’m fine with. I’d personally prefer Horween myself, oh well.
This is actually one of the ones she picked out the other day that she said she likedDD (the aforementioned Gen Z one) uses this when she is playing 2B. She likes it very much, if your daughter is ok with a Wilson glove. As stated in another thread, by a couple of us, spin control collects dirt but DD seems to think it's a solid glove.

You must have just Googled Pro1000, you linked the last batch Horween model. As I said the newest batch is Jtan Steerhide. The one thing I don’t understand is why Morton’s ordered this newest batch with dumbass rolled welting instead of rough split welting??That’s it, Don Morton’s is BallGloves.com
I’m thinking Morton’s has the sole rights to the Pro1000, you can’t even order a custom Pro1000 on the builder.
I have seen several times on Rawlings site the 12.25” Pro Issue Spring Trainer, the same one I bought at the Rawlings outlet at Myrtle Beach.
The Pro1000 and the Pro206 are the same identical size and pattern, they’re actually cut from the same dies. The Pro1000 was always a Pro order and the Pro206 was a retail glove.
Nope, sorry, I’m down to three 12” gloves.Do you have any 12” gloves you’re looking to part with and sell?
Oh my goodness. No Horween? No idea why…this newest batch of Pro1000’s are Jtan Steerhide instead of Horween which I’m fine with. I’d personally prefer Horween myself, oh well.
Really like how that one looks. Would you say it’s pretty much same quality as the pro1000? Would one be easier to break in the other? Here’s another killer glove / pattern that Morton’s also has…11.75” NP5, most here know the NP is my favorite pattern.
I know it’s an 11.75”, Rawlings are notorious for being around a 1/4” shorter than their listed size, a 12” Pro1000 is closer to 11.75” than 12”.
The exception is the NP pattern, they’re either right on the money or slightly larger than listed. My 11.75” NP5 is a larger glove than my 12” Pro1000.

They’re both Jtan, one is Camel and one is Tan, same break in.Really like how that one looks. Would you say it’s pretty much same quality as the pro1000? Would one be easier to break in the other?
Nope, even the great Don Morton’s disappoints every now and then…Oh my goodness. No Horween?
