After taking in the Hillhouse, Pauly, Balswick Clinic Friday and most of Saturday we headed South and DD met up with her new team to compete in the first tournament with them. For those of you at the clinic you can picture the unique weather... snowed Saturday morning... rained Saturday night. In five games on Sunday DD batted seventh in the lineup and went 8 for 12 with two doubles and a triple (pretty good for a girl that doesn't care to run-that's why she hits!) reaching base a couple other times on errors. They won a 14 team double elimination tournament in the 'second championship' game after losing in the first championship game by 15 + runs. Funny how things work out.
