I agree the kids deserve a chance to play, but granting an extra year will create a LOT of problems for underclassmen, and future players.

It makes for an interesting discussion. In my opinion, they will likely look at this as two separate groups.

Spring Sports -- Most spring sports have just recently started. I agree that these athletes should have the opportunity to play their senior season as they would have. DD's softball team has played 2 games....

Winter Sports -- This is a more difficult discussion. Most have completed their regular season and are now involved in various playoff formats. The argument can be made that this is what they play for to begin with. But they were also able to play the majority of their season. I'm not opposed to granting another year, but I do understand the challenges that are created.

Ultimately this will be a decision that the NCAA cannot win. No matter what decision they make, some people will agree and others will disagree.
