Catchers mitt for 9yo DD

I am looking for a good starter mitt for my DD. I would like to get her one no bigger than 32" Any suggestions from personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

My DD used a Mizuno GXS100 from the ages of 9-12. It is great mitt and was easy for her to use, fit her hand very well, and was a good size for the 11 inch ball. We still have it, we plan on giving it to a young catcher in our association.

why dont you use a first base glove, a lil easier to manipulate for a younger player

Thanks sru. I was considering the gxs100 or the diamond youth mitt. Ease of use and break in were my two main concerns. DD will be pitching and catching this year so I am not sure how many reps we can get in before season starts (mid april). We dont have any mitts coming down from our 12u this year so a new mitt is our best option. Found the gxs for $35.00!

No Brainer for $35.00. I paid $80 for my DD's in Canada.
