We have been through 3 pairs of molded cleats this year where the front ball and toe area is rubbed down nearly flat. Just got the last pair in April and it is already flat. I have heard of pitchers toe cleats but wondering if there is anything for catchers? She prefers new balance for fit (she needs a wider toe box) but they are clearly not holding up. She catches between 3-8 games a week and pitches about 1-2 games a week. She still has another year of 12u so can't switch to metal just yet.

We used Shoe Goo as a proactive solution. As well as a "fix" where/when needed.

Tuff Toe would also be a good solve. With Shoe Goo, we'd always have to clean and re-apply over time for DD's cleats. Applied some Tuff Toe, and never needed to touch it again.

Boombah and Ringor also both make a molded cleat with added toe material for protection/longevity. But I don't know about how they fit, DD never wore them.
