I don't believe this has been discussed but does anyone like the look of the "bear claw" eye liner that some players smear under their eyes. Obviously seems to be a response to the boys / men using the black glare liner to supposedly reduce the suns glare. But I have to be honest that the girls have taken this too far IMO. I guess it's suppose to make them look intimidating but might have the opposite effect. Come to think of it, NFLs Ray Lewis might have done it last season?

Maybe RDbass can post a gif? Does anybody really like this look? Would Finch's Team USA ever be got dead wearing that on their faces?

Little girls see college players wearing it. They see it as fun. With so much pressure on these these girls to compete, if they have fun with it, good for them. Better than a tramp stamp. It comes off with soap and water.

When she was 8, DD's rec-ball coach pulled out the eye black right before the big(at the time) final playoff game. Sheer brilliance, they went from tight and scared to loose and laughing. Timing is everything.

Mythbusters proved that eyeblack only works when used in conjunction with a visor. That said, the only time girls using it bothers me is when they get it all over their white uniform.
