A wish list item for me would be earpieces for outfielders during practice. Especially when it's windy. Working on situations there's a lot to relay out to them, but they can't always hear.

I don't think the catchers will like having an earpiece in all the time. Many coaches blurt and scream stuff out during gameplay. They're going to get sick of it, unless it is regulated to a "push-button-to-talk" system.

I coached football with a dumbass who left his mic on on the headset and screamed the whole game. He was a moron too, so he just screamed gibberish .

We had a high school game last week against a team that was using the same type of electronic wristband system that is used in college for the pitcher and catcher to receive the pitch call.

Softball? Not legal in NFHS.

Also illegal in NFHS Baseball. Baseball allows one-way communication from the DUGOUT to the CATCHER only. Communicating to the pitcher would be illegal.

I did see it used in early season NCAA softball tournaments/events.

Also certain travel organizations are allowing the Apple Watch style bands for all offensive and defensive players.
