Is there a difference in a softball 1st base mitt and a baseball mitt? I was looking at a mitt in our local sporting goods store. It was in the softball section had a nice deep pocket but when I check it out on line it was listed as a baseball mitt. Thanks for your help.
1B mitts all have a deep pocket. The manager of a sporting goods store that didn't carry Softball 1B mitts told me there was no difference, they are the same. (He specializes in Hockey anyway). However, if you look online you'll notice some glove Mfrs make mitts specifically for softball.
