    Make sure your music is a mix of what the kids like and what the adults like. Keep it CLEAN as far as your game music and walk ups are concerned. If there's any doubt about a lyric, Google it. Have a "Jeopardy" think music on hand in case there are any visits to the circle by the opposing...

    Runner gets first, ball is dead, runners advance one base; credit batter with base hit and give the putout (unassisted) to the closest defensive player.

    There should have been a separate field for softball. Granted, USA played quite well and even though they lost, it was great to see softball back. Not sure if it will be on the docket in Paris in 24 but remember, LA's got the 28 games.

    If you have one or two good pitchers, then there's no problem. I would teach the other 2 another position so that they are still part of the team.

    Just.... not to be picky. The area where a pitcher in softball stands is not a mound, it's a circle.

    We use book and Game Changer. I also do the stats for our team on Max Preps, so my stats are the official ones (unless the coaches want to make a change)

    This AGREED! This "man" has no business or right to coach softball or be around minors! I would have reported him to whoever was in charge of that tournament. NO child should have ever heard that. You're right. He should be BANNED and if needed arrested.
