Bad Decision Need help Maybe?
YOU are the coach, so when the parents are parents and want to dictate to you, explain your role neatly and sweetly. If they continue then explain more explicitly , MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. Once you allow them to mandate thier wishes, it is all over and you are finished as a head man IN CHARGE.- John

Bat Tilting Issues with Coach
I totally agree with Greenmonsters...2+2 Will never equal 5 regardless of how much authority the teacher has. The correct answer IMO would be for the Assistant Coach to question in private the methods of the Head Coach. In the event he still disagrees, he now has a decision to make. Go along...- John

Wait a minute, you are telling me that in a 10U softball game there was resistance to what you did??
