How many people do you know on the seedy Seeding Committee? Not true. We never used AGL after the first few attempts in year 1 and we got invites to the Tier 1 championship both years.

I think that if you want to get to the National championships you still have to qualify by placing in the Top X of various qualifying tournaments. Now the quality of those tournaments does vary quite a bit I think.Simply appears from the outside the more you play, the more points you can get, hurray hurray let's try and be in the top 16.

Recall teams playing in qualifiers that there were so few teams in the qualifier everybody got a berth to alliance.I think that if you want to get to the National championships you still have to qualify by placing in the Top X of various qualifying tournaments.
Yes.Now the quality of those tournaments does vary quite a bit I think.
True. Points do not get you into the show, you have win a birth by winning a qualifier event.I think that if you want to get to the National championships you still have to qualify by placing in the Top X of various qualifying tournaments. Then don't come. Thats fine. Understandable. But to be told you cant play in an alternative event closer to home because the ORG doesn't allow it is wrong. Team/coach/parents/players freedom is what I am advocating. Many teams are also saying. We don't want to spend $6K to go to Cali, we won't go to Cali, we can't afford Cali. You already have a choice in what team your DD joins. Do your homework. I knew darn well what events my DD's play every year before we joined. And it was expected that we travel to those tourneys.
Years ago, I spoke to a dad who's kid is a very prominent pitcher in the Big 12. They just got back from 14U PGF and he said that he would never go back. It was a complete joke and was entirely way to expensive. Let's face it, Cali teams have an advantage. They sleep in their own beds and can stack a team with 27 players in the dugout. I like the idea of moving the location every year but only to places that make sense. Not Midland, Tx or Normal, IL.
I agree with that..Then don't come. Thats fine. Understandable. But to be told you cant play in an alternative event closer to home because the ORG doesn't allow it is wrong. Team/coach/parents/players freedom is what I am advocating.
Also some of these teams were not made aware of their Orgs. compliance to the Alliance requirement until after the entered and paid for a PGF event. Now they are trying to get their money back from PGF. Good luck with that. Poor communication in TB orgs...imagine that!
Most of the Orgs are 501(c) 3? (there is no 501b status, that is the IRS code)Most of these Orgs. are 501b non profits.
