Seems weird but the school district you leave and the parents from that school would drop a nuke on it.

Thats before the parents of the kid displaced from lineup got started.

Have found in these few recent years that there are definitely non-communicative college coaches. That can add frustration. Does seem best to contact a larger list to get a better feel for the situation. Because there are college coaches that will reach out/communicate back and keep communicating.

Separate comment
the administrations of colleges can be helpful. Applying for a college in order to be accepted first,
Then the administration can step forward and speak to college coaches for players also. Like a door knocker.

If a College administration is already doing that for a player and the college coach still does not get in contact. That should be a clear answer, no.

Well, you were wrong again. It was not tongue in cheek; it is a fact that the coach requires a goal of playing in college otherwise, you're taking up a spot for a more committed player. She notified the coach that she does not plan to continue on the team and the coach appreciated her honesty. I'm hoping she changes her mind once high school season is over, which she plans to play. Maybe she just needed a break, idk. She knows the consequences of her choice. In the meantime, she's playing basketball and snowboarding every other weekend and is happy.

Okay so she made a decision and she's playing basketball and snowboarding good for her.

Travel ball exists primarily for getting girls into college programs. It's a requirement for my DGD's travel team, that she intend to play in college.

This is generally the case in older age brackets. There are a few teams out there that do not put that standard must play in college on it though.
