There are different ways to play it. In our defense 1st, 3rd, and the pitcher are responsible for charging and fielding the bunt, and the catcher is responsible for calling out the play: "1, 1, 1" or "2, 2, 2" or "3, 3, 3" or "4, 4, 4". Catcher can also field bunts in front of the plate. Player fielding the ball needs to call "mine, mine, mine" to avoid a collision with other players charging the bunt.
