Have a 10yo daughter. Very good contact hitter. Very fast runner but very weak swing. Thinking of moving to left side and going to slapping? First off, is it too soon to give up on the right side? If not, where to start? I have a pretty good fundamental understanding of slapping but need some ideas of where to start. We do have a local hs girl who is a fantastic slapper that has volunteered to help her but Im certain she wont have alot of time to work with her. I have access to everything she should need, tees, pitching machine, nets, etc... Any ideas???

Slap hitting... in addition to a lefty full swing... is often the best way for a pretty good player to become a really good player. I give about 300 slap hitting lessons per year and have put together my notes... covering approach and drills... in a file that I offer free to new slapper dads.
