- Well-kept fields.
- Good umpiring: biased/inconsistent/unreasonable umpires will be all anyone talks about or remembers in an otherwise wonderful tournament.
- Good competition. Ideally have double elimination format and/or gold/silver finals brackets = more games and competition for all the teams. One and done on Sunday is no fun.
- Shade! How much does it cost to have sunshades installed over the bleachers? I don't know, but I do know that it improves the experience immensely for spectators on a hot day (and they also give some protection from foul balls).
- Good food at the concession stands--set up a grill and cook decent-quality hotdogs and hamburgers, etc. onsite.
- Clean bathrooms with plenty of TP and soap, and hand-dryers that actually work.
- Plenty of parking.
- No gate fees and allow coolers.
- Have plenty of trash cans and empty them regularly.
- Good, clear signs directing people to the park(s) and to the fields within a park.
- Tournament results posted in accessible places and updated regularly.
- Keep each age group at a single location.
- Have decent warm up areas for teams.
