Yep! The best 3B's I've ever been around had that crazy look in their eyes, takes a special mindset!

Like a catcher, but crazier because they don't even get to wear body armor.

Assuming we're talking 12U or older, much easier (and less damaging) to put a good player at 1B than 3B. 3B is the harder position to fill IMO.
