I have seen umpires make pitchers remove band aids from their hands covering obvious cuts/abrasions.Really, the only player who can "gain an advantage" by wearing optic yellow is the pitcher.
In the the NFHS rulebook, the only specific mention of optic yellow restrictions are on the pitcher's glove and on any player's play-card wristband.
All other things for the pitcher would fall under 3-2-9 regarding distracting items on the pitching hand, wrist, arm, or thighs.
