From general Facebook chatter: USA Softball Council Meeting has concluded. Approves rule change allowing girls and women pitchers to leap. Look for this change to be discussed for NCAA this year (2022) as well

if they approve leaping, is crow hopping allowed as well????
The talk has been to allow leaping but no replant (crow hop). Pretty easy to define. If the sole of the foot comes off the ground and touches the ground again, it's a replant.if they approve leaping, is crow hopping allowed as well????
Easy to define, but is it easy to see at full speed? I see headaches in my future. The talk has been to allow leaping but no replant (crow hop). Pretty easy to define. If the sole of the foot comes off the ground and touches the ground again, it's a replant.
It really is if they actually crow hop and land on the bottom of the foot. The tough ones are when they don't really come off the ground but still replant, like Barnhill was most of the time (Cat is one of my favorites but she kind of does it too).Easy to define, but is it easy to see at full speed?
