Is 13” glove to big for an exclusive outfield glove?

I’m looking at getting an exclusive outfield glove for my daughter. I feel like a 13” glove is a great option since her infield glove is a 12”. I see alot of 12.75 gloves however I think that’s a bit small for exclusive outfield glove. Lastly will Gloveworks make a glove that large and make the hand stall slightly smaller than usual with special instructions?

Thanks,

We have 2 Gloveworks right now. Mine is a 13.25, DD has a 12.75 (her backup, never her favorite). Both were sent to CT for break in together. Can hardly tell a difference between them. For reference, she also has a new 12.75 Marucci that she has barely started the break in, and it looks smaller than her GW.
So I guess my input doesn't help.
I recommend I web, which is similar to Rawlings full trap design for outfield, wearing TIP.
I believe that if you order a GW softball specific, that it will automatically have a smaller hand stall.
I really like them, DD not so much, but she cant explain why. Her answer is it's too slick.

A 13" glove is fine for outfield work. As for Gloveworks, I can't answer that question, but Rawlings custom gloves allow you to choose the width of the taper you want.

LHT 12.75” Six- Finger trap, belongs to one of the coolest old timers over at SBF. One of the coolest gloves I’ve ever seen!

If I were buying my DD a GW outfielder glove….this right here!
