My Dd and I was asked by a local rec coach to go out and work with his DD on batting because she was having a hard time. We tried to keep it simple and did several drills that I'd learned on here and travel ball. My dd explained what a lot of them were for and demonstrated how to do them. She said she still needed lots of work also, but understood what needed to be done to improve. The coach said about an hour later it was probably the farthest he'd ever seen his dd hit (got her using her lower half more).
At the end he said he learned about 20 new things (didn't know I knew 20 things) and asked my dd if she'd like to help coach his team. She was so happy and said yes, but I don't know how she'd do it with high school sports and travel ball. We are going out again next week with a couple of the coaches. Plus, she's just 14 and it's 15u.
Anyway, it was nice to "pay it forward"
