If 90 degrees is foot pointing at 1B and 0 degrees is foot pointing at home plate, all the good pitchers land with foot at 45 degrees or less.

1B? You mean 3B, right?

Great video @sluggers! I may be biased but really like the kid at 7:11.
What hips LOL
That is my daughter Jessica "Jake" Elliott. She is done playing but does lessons with me when she is in town. She did not always throw with the hop, only when her rise was really on and she wanted a little more on the pitch. For some reason I've always liked watching her one-legged hop after her pitches.
Is that your daughter? Or your daughter's teammate?

Even more so with what she has done since graduation. The skills she developed while playing the game certainly set her up for life after softball. You must be one proud Dad

She did play professionally in Europe. The pay is the same as the NPF, maybe a bit more and 4 days out the week she was a tourist. Went to all the usual places in Europe and had a good time. She will be the first to tell you that the NPF business model is ludicrous. Some of her friends went into the NPF and let's just say that it is not as it appears. Decided she was done playing and is working in Scottsdale at one the top resorts in the country.Yes indeed. If I may ask.. why didn't she try to go pro? Is it too competitive?
