My DD is closing to soon when pitching causing her to hit her elbow on her hip. She has developed a nasty buise on her pitching elbow. What drills can I use to get her to use proper mechanics so she doesn't close to soon and hit her elbow on her hip?

The best drill is simply the "no close" drills. She does her regular pitching motion, but she leaves her right foot (assuming she is right handed) behind her left foot. She is not to close her hips at all.
Did someone teach her the "slam the door" approach to pitching?
