Anything with the elbow should be an "effect". IOWs, what you see being done with the elbow, cannot be corrected with trying to do something with the elbow itself.I gotcha. She's just had issues pulling the elbow thru first. Gonna work on the J Stone progressions as well tonight hopefully.
There was a gif of a girl in college, i think it was a red and white team, who throttled a home run and she had a huge core move before she hit. I think it was last years world series, can't remember. Been looking for that to use as an example. Does it sound familiar? Was a righty.
It's actually a sequencing problem further upstream, and I'm glad you're reading/commenting on the "Marcela 10 Years Old" thread, as that same sequencing thing applies to your DD also....although your DD has a front shoulder leading/leaning problem, instead of an early hands lead as in Marcela's case.
EDIT: Sometimes pictures speak louder than words....
Notice how your DD leans her front shoulder forward towards the ball, and then has to get it out of the way by making a hard left turn with it...all before she's even able or in a position to launch the barrel from.
This is a case of a "top down" swing I mentioned in the other thread, as can be noted by the shoulder pulling the hips around, instead of the hips pulling the torso, and then shoulders around.
