1B Mitt - 12U

DD loves 1B, but needs a new mitt. She is right handed. I would appreciate recommendations.

No budget limit. Want to get her a good glove that will last.

I know you said 12U, how big is your DD ? May be too much glove but at least check out a Rawlings PRODCTJBT mitt. The "DCT" is probably considered the best first base pattern ever. The JBT is Japanese tanned leather. Great leather ! Keep in mind, this is a baseball mitt but it is a 13".

Also check out the Vinci CBW413 and the Worth Liberty Advanced LAFBWN, both are fastpitch mitts. The All Star System Seven FGS7-FB, it has Maruhashi leather and appears to be based off the Rawlings DCT pattern. I'm sure the All Star is a great glove and is around $60 less than the Rawlings.

Does your DD play any other positions? I know a lot of 1B who play with a regular glove, so a specialty 1B mitt may be unnecessary unless she is a full time 1B.

Less stuff to carry and more money for bats! Plus you cannot blame the equipment!
