Good observations, she’s changed the bat angle to give her a tighter and more direct path to the plane of the ball. She’s been fighting with raising the elbow and dropping the hands.
She still searching for what works against live hitting. look how long it takes me to notice she’s done something different and I’m staring right at her.. My wife’s right I’m blind and oblivious
After she saw this video and the two assessment videos from Richard commenting on the lifting of the rear elbow, put together with the 15 or so missed opportunities to hit a home run by being off a fraction of an inch she put this hand set together. She feels it a more direct path to the ball and getting some bottom hand pull her description. Time will tell if that dog can hunt...

Unless I missed the point, I don’t anything he said regarding rear forearm at toe touch goes against @efastball (or his montage of hitters). I actually think @efastball has stated he likes a lower elbow to start which was the question TM was answering regardless of what your actual question was...Efastball

I’m posting on another thread about her lesson with Richard but that post will likely die off so I’m double dipping to keep a record of her journey. We’re nearing the end of her junior year, about two weeks left. If things go right, I’ll have another year before I hand her off to her college coaches.

Haley taking on the old man. He was quicker the 1st time but she clearly got him the second time.
During her hitt session with Richard, I noticed she was struggling a bit to stay coiled and loaded.
so we worked on her ability to load and let the swing put the foot down not gravity.
