We have finally figured out what works. My brother is her physician and recommened just applying more often, the prescription-strength deodorant. We have also incorporated wipes for in between games, then a re-application of the deo. Hope she makes it through this tough time in her life soon...
Love the 30 minute drive each way to my daughter's practice. It gives us a chance to talk about the day/life of a 12 year old...just she and I. Yesterday, after discussing her school day, she started talking about a couple of problems she is having with pitching. Then we discussed her...
I watched the video. What a good story & outcome for that girl. I can't even imagine what she's had to endure. I need to start saving $$ just in case my kid does need that procedure. Until then, we have more options to try. :).
It's just her arm pits that smell. She sweats on her back some too...but the odor comes from the arm pits. It is Arizona...but I don't want her embarrassed. Thank you.
Maybe I should have added, but didn't feel the need to...but she matured early, became a "woman" at 10 1/2. She is 5'7", 125 and is barely 12. Maybe her body is just getting used to itself.
I appreciate all the suggestions. Thank you all.
How do I put this...Yes, she really did stink. It isn't normal sweating that's causing it. Or maybe it is. But she had 4 games here in the Phx area on Saturday. She was smelly after game 2. I feel for her. Her doctor said today, to use it more often during the day. So maybe we will try...
Now that I have your attention...but I have a delicate matter. My poor 12 year old daughter, no matter what we have tried, nothing seems to help her body odor. She uses the prescription roll on at night, and her regualar stuff in the morning. We've also tried just using the prescription stuff at...
My kid loves her CF5 Insane. Lots of pop, and we may never buy a different bat type. When we were at the Colorado Sparkler this summer, we ran into a couple of coaches that said after a while the Xeno seemed to have lost some pop for them...and that their girls would only swing the newer Xeno's...
She pitches at the start of practice. Then when the rest of the girls show up, they warm up and do some sort of conditioning. Then they break into their groups...whether it be hitting/fielding/etc. Then at the end of practice, they do more conditioning. Usually this is one day during the week...
My 12u daughter is complaining that her big & small toes are hurting during practice. The sides of each toe are what are bothering her, usually during running & conditioning. I've looked online, albeit not much, for a wide-width option. Some advertise that they do sell them, but when I go to...
I agree with you, lostbayou21. I don't let my kids swim on game days either. I stil remember the one day when I defied my own father and swam. I remember feeling exhausted during the game later on that night...and no doubt resulted in our only loss of the season. Maybe it was good for me to feel...
