Coach some little girls. Then, your DD will end up helping you.
Talk to her about respect. My husband never let the kids run over me, so to speak.
I do the same with my adult daughter. If my granddaughter is being awful, to her mom, I step in.
She is 10. Her mom and I will coach her in rec ball, next month. She doesn’t want to bat. I am going to hire former U of A coach Larry Ray, to teach her to slap.
I have a team mom or dad handle parties and t-shirts. She happens to be an attorney. We are in the same page.
As far, as a gift exchange, I simply would say NO.
But, I am 65 and I think the parents avoid me. 😁
I’m sorry that you are in this situation. My feeling is that you probably know more than the head coach.
Everything else has already been said.
Good luck.
I have lived in 2 cities where there were major thefts from baseball and football. I mean $50,000.
I now want to see bank statements, if I’m paying dues.
I haven’t read all of the replies. I am familiar with a program, as described. I choose not to have my granddaughter play there.
But, they have no shortage of players. They have no shortage of teams and are expanding.
One of my former pitching students flew in, from a distant country, to play...
I figured this out, this 10u season. I tried to make my GDD, like my DD. I even called her by her mother’s name twice.
I also called a 9 yo pitcher by her 15 yo cousin’s name.
I blame it on old age.
